Record Assist Hours

To open the Record Assist Hours screen, click the Assist button on the Logged on screen.

The Record Assist Hours screen allows you to record how many hours a technician assisted you on a work order.

Note:  When assist labor hours are recorded, the total assist time entered cannot be greater than the current Logged On Elapsed time. When the assist time is posted, the system will reduce the Logged On Elapsed time by the amount entered in the Assist Time field. This allows the technician to record multiple assists from a single log on.

The following fields appear on the Record Assist Hours screen:

Field	Description
Work Order	The number of the work order the technician is currently working on.
Segment	The segment number within the open work order.
Assist Minutes	The amount of time worked to assist another technician on the selected work order.
Comments	Any additional comments you wish to add to the work order.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Record Assist Hours screen:

Button	Function
Save	Saves changes made on the Record Assist Hours screen.
Close	Closes the Record Assist Hours screen without saving and returns to the Logged on screen.
