Work Order G/L Accounts
Use the Work Order G/L Accounts screen to view or edit locations with their corresponding cash code and G/L accounts that have been configured.
Note: Setting up a G/L Account for a Cash Code controls which G/L Accounts can be used when closing a work order.
The Work Order G/L Accounts screen is accessed by hovering over a Cash Code on the Work Order G/L Accounts screen and selecting either View or Copy from the pop-up menu, or by clicking the Need to create a new G/L account? Click here to add link.

Fields on the Work Order G/L Accounts screen are:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Location | The location associated with the list of valid accounts. |
| Cash Code | The cash code associated with the list of valid accounts. Options include customer, warranty, internal, or labor. |
| G/L Account | Enter a general ledger account number that is to be used for validation when closing a work order. |
Use these buttons to complete your work on the Work Order G/L Accounts screen:

Save—saves changes made on the Work Order G/L Account screen.

Save & New—saves a newly added G/L account and refreshes the Work Order G/L Accounts screen, allowing you to add another G/L account without closing the screen. This button appears only when accessing the screen by clicking the Need to create a new G/L account? Click here to add link.

Delete—deletes the selected G/L account from the list. This button appears only when accessing the screen by hovering over a Cash Code and selecting View from the pop-up menu.

Close—closes the Work Order G/L Accounts screen without saving and returns to the Work Order G/L Accounts screen.
