Sending a Message to a User Within IntelliTech

The security switch Access Message in section 812 must be turned on in order for a technician to be authorized to send a message while working in IntelliTech.

  1. From any IntelliDealer screen, click on the Product Support tab.
    The Product Support Quick Links screen will appear.

  2. From the Service List, click the IntelliTech link.
    The Scheduled Work Orders screen will appear.

  3. On the Scheduled Work Orders screen, enter a technician's number into the Select Technician field.
    Click the GO>> link to generate the technician search.

  4. On the selected work order, click on the Yes link on the Log On field.
    The Logged on screen will appear.

  5. On the Logged on screen, click on the Message button.
    The Send Message screen will appear.

  6. On the Send Message screen, select a send to option (User, E-mail or Terminal).

    Click on the Search icon to search for a User, E-mail or Terminal.

  7. Type the Message in the field provided.

    Send the message to the selected send to option. Click the Submit button.
    Close the Send Message screen without sending a message. Click the Close button.
