Product Support - Equipment Evaluation

To access the Work With Security Switches screen, click the link for the desired system or switch. You can control access to the security switch for individual users or user groups.

Security Switches - Equipment Evaluation
Access Gives the user access to the User Evaluations screen at Product Support > Equipment > Used Evaluations. To access this screen, the user must also be configured with a specific Used Equipment Evaluation role.
Must Complete Inspection Determines if the entire inspection must be completed before the evaluation can be forwarded on (forwarding an evaluation to service is excluded from this logic).
Allow Update of Equipment Master Gives the user access to the Copy Evaluation Options screen through the Features tab by clicking on the Click here to update equipment master with options link (inspections only).
Restrict Submission Comments Prevents the user who created the evaluation from seeing other user comments on the evaluation, while sending the evaluation from user to user.
Modify Won Loss from History Gives the user access to the Additional Information screen from Product Support > Equipment > Used Evaluations, click the Access evaluation history link to open the Evaluation History screen, then click on an Evaluation Number. When enabled, a Won/Loss button appears on the Used Evaluation tab.
Access Multimedia Gives the user access to the Multimedia tab through the Used Evaluation screen by clicking on an Evaluation Number. The multimedia that is maintained on the tab is the same multimedia as found in Equipment Profile for the specified stock number. If the evaluation is set up using no stock number, the Multimedia tab will not appear even if the switch is enabled.
Modify Multimedia Allows the user to modify a multimedia link on the Multimedia tab. When enabled, the object title is a highlighted link.
Add Multimedia Allows the user to add a multimedia link to a used evaluation from the Multimedia tab. When enabled, the Click here to add new link link appears.
Display Other UEM Requests Allows one used equipment manager (UEM) to take on another used equipment manager's requests. This allows a UEM to cover for another when they are away from the office. When enabled the UEM has access to the Select User field at the top of the Evaluation Listing screen and can enter a UEM user name or non UEM user ID to view all requests for a selected user. This function is for viewing requests only.
One Feature from Each Section Mandatory

When enabled, one feature from each section on the Features tab must be filled out before you can forward the used evaluation. Sections are determined by the change in option codes start digits.

Automatic History on Close Submits the user evaluation to evaluation history when the used evaluation is closed.
Allow No Stock # On Evaluation Add When enabled, the Stock Number field on the Add Evaluation Request screen is optional.
