Margin Additional Costs - Listing Screen

The Margin Additional Costs screen allows you to configure new margin additional costs, which can be applied to new equipment quotes in order to account for any costs that are not already represented on the Margin Worksheet (such as handling fees involved with the sale of a unit).

To open the Margin Additional Costs screen, navigate to Configuration > Equipment > General > Margin Additional Costs.

To edit an existing margin additional cost, click the cost's Description.

To create a new margin additional cost, click the Need to add a Additional Costs? Click here to add link.

The search fields on the Margin Additional Costs screen are:

Field Description
Select Description

Search for a margin additional cost by description.

Include Inactive Select whether to include inactive margin additional costs in the search results.
Select Location

Search for a margin additional cost by the location that it applies to.

The fields on the Margin Additional Costs screen are:

Field Description
Description A brief description of the margin additional cost.
Location The location that the margin additional cost applies to.
Amount The dollar amount that will be added to the Total Cost of the segment when the selected margin additional cost is applied to a quote.
Type The type of equipment that must be on the segment in order for the margin additional cost to be applied; either New, Used, or Both.
Class

The class of equipment that must be on the segment in order for the margin additional cost to be applied.

Click Close to complete your work on the Margin Additional Costs screen.
