Task Templates

Use the Task Templates screen to add new task templates and view an existing task template's priority. Task templates added to the system appear on the Template drop down list on the Task/Action tab and can be used as a valid task template throughout the task tracker module. The Task/Action tab is accessed from the Task Tracker screen by clicking the Need to add a task? Click here to add link.

To open the Task Templates screen, navigate to Configuration > Miscellaneous > Other > Task Templates.

The sorting options on the Task Templates screen are:

Sort by
Field Description
Template Sort the search results by task template.
Priority Sort the search results by task template priority.

The search fields on the Task Templates screen are:

Field Description
Select Template Search for a task template by entering a task template.
Select Priority Search for a task template by selecting a task template priority from the drop down list.
Include Inactive If selected, includes inactive task templates within the search results.

The fields on the Task Templates screen are:

Field Description
Task Template The assigned name of the task template.
Default Priority The priority of the selected task template (e.g. low, medium or high).
Work Flow Whether or not a work flow is set up on the corresponding task template.

Click a Task Template to open the Task Template Maintenance screen.
