JD Warranty Select Dealer Number

Use the JD Warranty- Select Dealer Number screen to submit warranty claims, retrieve PIPS, retrieve open PIPS, retrieve warranty dates, and submit delivery receipts. To access the screen, hover over the Work Order Options link from within an open work order Segment and click the JD Warranty link from the drop down menu. Alternatively, click the JD Warranty link on the equipment Profile tab.

To make Vendors selectable for the JD Warranty interface, you must check the JD Win box located in the Vendor Profile. Contact John Deere for more details regarding specific warranty data.

Fields on the JD Warranty- Select Dealer Number screen are:

Field	Description
Dealer Number	The dealer's identification number.
Description	A description of the contract type (e.g. construction).
SIC	Accommodates those dealerships with more than one dealer per location. SIC (Standard Industrial Classification) codes help differentiate warranty claim edits in the IntelliDealer warranty information management system.

Click a Dealer Number to open the JD Warranty screen to select an interface option. Interface options are:

Interface Options
Interface	Description
Warranty Claim	Use this option to create and send a warranty claim to John Deere from a warranty segment on the work order. The Warranty Claims option appears only if accessing the screen through the work order Segments tab.
Retrieve PIPS	Retrieves information about open PIP's (Product Improvement Program) for a specific PIN (Product Identification Number).
Retrieve Open PIPS	Retrieves applicable PIP's (Product Improvement Program) and their status for a specific PIN (Product Identification Number).
Warranty Information	Retrieves detailed warranty information for a PIN (Product Identification Number).
Submit Delivery Receipt	Records a delivery receipt of a machine in John Deere's system. This interface supports batched I/O's, allowing batching of multiple delivery receipts in a single message.
