JDLink

Note:  This topic describes a legacy JDLink search screen from an earlier integration. IntelliDealer no longer uses manual JDLink association on the GPS tab for telematics. JDLink machine data is retrieved through the automated JDLink Machine Data Integration (AEMP 2.0), configured on Configuration > Interfaces > AEMP Telematics.

Units are matched automatically on serial number when the AEMP job runs. View telematics data from the Telematics button in Machine Quick Links on Equipment Profile.

Legacy screen (deprecated)

The JDLink popup was used to manually associate a JDLink machine profile to the selected IntelliDealer machine profile. It was accessed by clicking the Search icon next to the JDLink field on the GPS tab. That workflow is no longer used for telematics updates. The field descriptions below are retained for reference only.

Note:  The JDLink field only appears if you are licensed to use JDLink.

Search fields on the JDLink screen are:

Field Description
Make/Model Search for a unit in the JDLink system using the make and model number.
Machine Serial Search for a unit in the JDLink system using the machine serial number.
Customer Search for a unit in the JDLink system using the name of the customer associated to the unit.
Show Filter the search results based on whether the unit is Unassociated to an IntelliDealer machine profile, Associated to an IntelliDealer machine profile, or All.

Fields on the JDLink screen are:

Field Description
Make/Model The make and model of the unit, as it appears in JDLink.
Machine Serial The machine serial number, as it appears in JDLink.
Customer The customer ID associated to the unit, as specified in the JDLink system.
Position near City The location of the unit, as it relates to the city that the dealership is in.
As of The last date that the selected unit information was updated.

Click Close to close the JDLink screen.
