Select Job Code

The Select Job Code screen allows you to select a job code from the list in order to populate the Select Job Code field.

SAM schedules listed on the SAM Schedules screen are created for specific machine make and model codes, as listed on the Equipment Profile screen. By using make/model codes, any machine with the matching make and model is eligible to receive the SAM schedule set up for the corresponding make/model code.

The following fields appear on the Select Job Code screen:

Field	Description
Job Code	The reference or identification number of the job code.
Make/Model	The job code will apply to units with the corresponding make (manufacturer) code. The job code will apply to units with the corresponding model code. Note:  Job codes with an *All are not allowed within the S.A.M. system. A separate job code must be made for each model within a make that you will make a contract for.
Program	The SAM program description.
Period	The time period covered by the SAM program.
Code	The program code that represents a unit of time (e.g. H hours).
Description	A brief description of the job code.

Click on a Description to open the Job Code Details screen.

The following button allows you to complete your work on the Select Job Code screen:

Close	Closes the Select Job Code screen without selecting a job code and returns to the previous screen.
