Customer Toolbar - Overview

The Customer Toolbar offers a quick way to perform customer actions from any screen in IntelliDealer that has a link to a customer name. Just move your cursor over the customer name link, and choose an option from the toolbar.

Setup

Different parts of the Customer Toolbar are enabled by these features:

Feature Feature Name Access
PFW 6507 ID - Customer Care

If licensed, the Customer Portal, Schedule Call, Enter Note,and Target Marketing icons appear (depending on user security) on the Customer Toolbar.

PFW 6161 or PFW 6167 VoIP Link (Cisco) or VoIP Link (Nortel) If licensed, the Click to Call icon appears (depending on user security) on the Customer Toolbar.

The Customer Toolbar is an option driven by the user's security access within the system. The security switches that affect the Customer Toolbar are:

System Security Switch Related Function
997 - Global Security Allow Customer Icon Bar Options

Gives the user access to the Customer Toolbar throughout the system.

997 - Global Security Miscellaneous - Update Customer Outside Profile

If this switch is active the Customer Profile screen appears when launched from the Customer Toolbar. If this switch is inactive the mini Customer Profile screen appears, which has limited functionality.

702 - Customer Care - Portal Access Portal If this switch is active the Customer Portal icon appears on the Customer Toolbar, giving the user access to the Customer Portal screen.
701 - Customer Care - Marketing Access Campaigns If this switch is active the Target Marketing icon will not appear on the Customer Toolbar, giving the user access to the Campaign screen.
995 - User Security Access Click to Call If this switch is active the Click to Call icon will not appear on the Customer Toolbar, giving the user access to the PFW VoIP Link screen.

Functions

The icons and their functions are:

Name Icon Function
Customer Profile Opens the Customer Profile screen so you can access further information regarding the customer.
Customer Portal Opens the Customer Portal screen so you can view customer information.

Marketing Campaign

Opens the Campaign screen so you can design a marketing campaign for the customer.
Add Call Opens the Add a Call screen so you can create a call and contact the customer.
Schedule Call Opens the Schedule a Call? screen so you can schedule customer calls.
Add a Note Opens the Add a Note screen so you can add a note to the customer's profile.
Open Map Opens Google Maps and displays the customer's location.
VitalEngage Text Opens the VitalEngage Text window so you can review and respond to the customer's text messages.
Tethr It Now Opens the Tethr It screen so you can set up a video call with the customer.
