VitalEngage Text Overview

VitalEngage Text is a text messaging service that allows you to connect with customers via one-way and two-way SMS and MMS messages. VitalEngage Text features include:

  • initiate a text message from any IntelliDealer screen that includes a customer contact number

  • insert a download link to related files in messages

  • notification of unread messages, including group notifications for users assigned to the same proxy number

  • a history screen that managers can use to review all messages

  • IntelliDealer Alert Management System integration

  • Skypify integration

  • branding for a consent email for US customers

Users send and receive messages while logged into IntelliDealer via the VitalEngage Text Window. While offline, users can be notified of new messages by via email or a text message to their cell phone. See Notification Settings.

Where can I engage with VitalEngage Text?

A notification system lets you know when you have a new unread text message.

The notifications are:

  1. A preview of the message.

  2. A numeric badge next to the text icon that displays the number of new, unread messages.

You can initiate and respond to messages from any screen that lists a contact (cell) number. Click the icon to open a VitalEngage Text interaction.

You can also find it in the Hover-over menu.

Anytime you click a Text PDF button, the system displays a list of all contacts for that customer so you can choose one to text.
