Parts Requisitions

You can use theParts Requisition screen to view work order parts requisitions, create work order parts requisitions, switch to parts invoicing, and change default print parameters.

The Work Order Parts Requisition screen can be accessed from the Parts Invoicing screen by clicking on the Switch to work order part requisition link.

The search fields on the Parts Requisition screen are:

Field Description
Customer Search Search for work order requisitions by entering a customer search word.
Customer Number

Search for work order requisitions by entering a customer number.

Clicking the button to open the Customers sub-menu. You can refine your search using credentials from the Customer Search screen.

WO Number Search for work order requisitions by entering a purchase order/work order number.
Date Added From Narrow down the parts invoice search results by selecting a date range starting from a selected day.
Location Search for work order requisitions by entering a branch location.
Salesperson Search for work order requisitions by entering a salesperson.
Order Number Search for work order requisitions by entering an order number.
Date Added To Narrow down the parts invoice search results by selecting a date range up to a selected day.
Part Number Search for part invoices by entering a part number.
Bin Search for part invoices by entering a bin number.

The Include Adjustments checkbox toggles between displaying items that have had adjustments or other items that any others that have a Misc Charge.

The View Back Orders checkbox toggles between displaying back orders in the listing grid.

The following fields appear on the Work Order Requisition screen:

Field Description
Order Number

The order number associated with the work order requisition.

The characters INQ at the beginning of an order number indicates that the invoice is an Inquiry Invoice (INQ)Closed An inquiry invoice allows a salesperson to check parts availability without effecting the parts on hand quantity or creating a sales order.. Reverse-highlighted order numbers denote that the selected item is an adjustment.

Hovering over the Order Number opens a sub menu that can access the Shop Parts Return terminal for access part returns.

Customer The customer name associated with the work order requisition.
Salesperson The salesperson assigned or who created the work order requisition.
Location The branch location of the work order requisition .
Date Added The day the work order requisition was created.
WO Number

The work order number associated with the work order requisition.

The icon option Export to CSV creates a CSV file version of the results

Click on the Order Number field to open the Details tab to view or edit an invoice.

Click on a customer name on the Customer field to open the Customer Profile screen.

The Print Parameters button schedules a print of all listed information. You can switch between this screen and the Parts Invoicing screen by clicking the Switch to parts invoicing button.

The Create button opens the Work Order Parts Requisitions screen where a new parts invoice can be created.
