Messages (Add/Edit)
Use the Messages screen to add and maintain messages for users which appear on the IntelliDealer Home page.
To open the Messages screen, click a Recipient name or the Need to create a new message? Click here to add link on the Messages screen.
The fields on the Messages screen are:
| Field | Description |

| User | Determines who sees the message. You can either select a specific user or all users. |
| Dates | Controls how long the message will appear. This is useful for entering messages in advance or to ensure that messages that have a specific expiration date are automatically removed from the IntelliDealer Home page. The system will not automatically delete any old messages. |

Enter the message in the provided text box. You can embed HTML code to enhance the message such as font size, color, etc. If you would like to do this but you are unsure of what to do, please contact VitalEdge support for more information. |
The buttons on the Messages screen are:
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Save | Saves changes made on the Messages screen. |
| Delete | Deletes the selected message. |
| Close | Closes the Messages screen without saving changes and returns to the Messages screen. |
