Report Parameters/ Print Options

To open the Report Parameters screen, click the Print button on the Financial Book screen.

The Report Parameters screen allows you to set up the printing and ordering parameters for the financial book you have created.

The following is a description of the fields that appear on the Report Order section on the Report Parameters screen:

Report Order
Field Description
Report The name of the financial report.
Description A brief description of the financial report.
Move The order the report will appear in the financial book when printed. Manipulating the up and down arrows allows you to change the order of the reports.

The following is a description of the fields that appear on the Print Options section on the Report Parameters screen:

Print Options
Field Description
Printer The printer that will generate the financial book.
or PDF Creates a PDF file of the financial book, which can be viewed via the PDF Viewer.
Copies The number of copies you wish to print.
Duplex Whether or not you wish to print double sided pages or single sided pages.
Generate Cover Page Generates a cover page for the financial book.
Line 1

Enter any text you wish to appear on the first line of the generated cover page for your financial book.

Note:  
The Line fields will only appear if the Generate Cover Page checkbox is selected.
Line 2 Enter any text you wish to appear on the second line of the generated cover page for your financial book.
Line 3 Enter any text you wish to appear on the third line of the generated cover page for your financial book.
Generate Table of Content

If selected the system will generate a table of content for the financial book.

Note:  
The Generate Table of Content field will only appear if the Generate Cover Page checkbox is selected and you have selected more than one report.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Report Parameters screen:

Button Function
Print Prints the financial book according to the parameters selected above.
Close Closes the Report Parameters screen without printing and returns to the Financial Book screen.

To open the Print Options screen, hover over the desired report run on the Reports screen and select Print from the drop down list.

The Print Options screen allows you to configure the print options for the selected report run.

The following fields appear on the Print Options screen:

Field Description
Printer The printer that will generate the report.
or PDF Creates a PDF file of the report, which can be viewed via the PDF Viewer.
Copies The number of copies you wish to print.
Duplex Whether or not you wish to print double sided pages or single sided pages.
Print Details

Allows you to select the level of detail you want to include on the report; either Use Row Settings, Summary Only, Detail Only or Summary and Detail.

Note:  The Use Row Settings, Detail Only and Summary and Detail options will only appear if the Access Fin Report Detail Lines switch is activated on the Authorization List for Global Security screen.

Note:  If the Use Row Settings option is selected, only rows for which the Show Account Details for Row switch is activated on the Row Information screen will display detail lines.
As such, use the Use Row Settings option if you want the printed or emailed versions of the report to hide or display the account detail lines based on the Show Account Details for Row switch.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Print Options screen:

Button Function
Print Prints the report according to the parameters selected above.
Close Closes the Print Options screen without printing and returns to the Financial Reporting Runs screen.
