Row Options
Option Description
Row Heading Tells the system you would like text heading in the first column with no data to the right.

Total 1,2,3,4,5 and 6

A Total line sums the values of previous detail lines up to a previous Total line. You can use Total lines to sum up sections of the report, and to create sums of the sums. See Total Line Examples below.

Reference Tells the system that this line is for reference purposes only and will not be listed on the report.
Line Tells the system to generate a horizontal line across the report, used for layout.

The Additional Fields available are:

Additional Fields (Optional)

Reverse Sign Whether to reverse the sign of the value. If selected, a positive value is displayed with a minus sign in front of it, and a negative value is displayed with no minus sign.
Show Account Details for Row

Determines whether to display row account details. This option is set on a row-by-row basis.

For this field to be available, you must enable the Access Fin Report Detail Lines switch in 997 - Global Security.

If this parameter is activated, the Use Row Settings, Detailed Only, and Summary & Detail options appear on the Print Options and Financial Book Run screens. As such, use the Use Row Settings option if you want the printed or emailed versions of the report to hide or display the account detail lines based on the Show Account Details for Row parameter.

If this parameter is enabled, then Show Column as % of Reference will always display 100%. Therefore, you should disable this parameter when using Show Column as % of Reference.

Total Line Examples

A Total line sums previous detail lines:

Report Row Result
detail A 1
detail B 1
Total 1 detail A + detail B= 2

Entering another Total line performs a sum up to the previous Total line only:

Report Row Result
detail A 1
detail B 1
Total 1 detail A + detail B= 2
detail C 10
detail D 10
Total 1 detail C + detail D = 20

If you want to find the sum of all previous detail lines, you can use a Total line of the next number (if previous was Total 1, next is Total 2) to sum the previous totals:

Report Row Result
detail A 1
detail B 1
Total 1 detail A + detail B= 2
detail C 10
detail D 10
Total 1 detail C + detail D = 20
Total 2 Total 1a + Total 1b = 2 + 20 = 22

IntelliDealer provides up to 6 levels of summation. In the this example, a letter is used after a Total line number to uniquely identify the Total line being used for visualization purposes only. Letters are not used with a Total line when setting up a report in IntelliDealer.

Here's how it would look to use a Total 3 line:

Report Row Result
detail A 1
detail B 1
Total 1a detail A + detail B= 2
detail C 10
detail D 10
Total 1b detail C + detail D = 20
Total 2a Total 1a + Total 1b = 2 + 20 = 22
detail E 100
detail F 100
Total 1c detail E + detail F = 100 + 100 = 200
Total 2b Total 1c = 200
Total 3 Total 2a + Total 2b = 22 + 200 = 222
