Rental Reason Codes
Use the Rental Reason Codes screen to add a new rental reason code to the system or edit an existing code.
To open the Rental Reason Codes screen, click a Code or the Need to create a new reason code? Click here to add link on the Rental Reason Codes screen.
Screen Description
The fields on the Rental Reason Codes screen are:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Code | A four character alphanumeric code used to represent the rental reason code throughout the rental system. |
| Type | The rental reason type (e.g. Rental Exchange, Rental Cancel, Rental Credit, or Rate Override). |
| Description | A brief description of the rental reason code. |
Use these buttons to complete your work on the Rental Reason Codes screen:
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Save | Creates the new rental reason code, adding it to the system. |
| Save & New |
Saves a newly added rental reason code and refreshes the Rental Reason Codes screen, allowing you to add another rental reason code without closing the screen. This button appears only when accessing the Rental Reason Codes screen by clicking the Need to create a new reason code? Click here to add link. |
| Save & Next |
Saves any edits/changes made to the selected rental reason code and scrolls through to the next rental reason code in the list to apply any edits/changes. This button appears only when accessing the Rental Reason Code screen by clicking a Code. |
| Copy |
Copies the selected rental reason code. This button appears only when accessing the Rental Reason Code screen by clicking a Code. |
| Delete |
Deletes the rental reason code from the system. This button appears only when accessing the Rental Reason Code screen by clicking a Code. |
| Close | Closes the Rental Reason Codes screen without saving and returns to the Rental Reason Codes screen. |
