Certifications

Use the Certifications tab to manage dealership employee certifications.

The Certifications tab can be accessed from the Employee Profile tab by clicking on the Certifications tab.

The Information fields on the Certifications tab are:

Information
Field Description
Employee Number

The number of the employee. A five-character alphanumeric number that represents the employee within the system.

The employee number is used as the technician number in the Work Order system.

Employee Name The name of the employee.

The fields on the Certifications tab are:

Field Description
Vendor Tech ID The ID representing this technician with the certifying vendor.
Product The product the technician is certified on after the successful completion of the certification course.
Model The model number covered by the certification course material.
Description A brief description outlining details of the certification.

To edit an existing certification, move the cursor over a Vendor Tech ID number and select Edit from the pop-up menu to open the Employee Certification screen.

To copy the selected employee certification, move the cursor over a Vendor Tech ID number and select Copy from the pop-up menu.

Select the Click here to add a certification link to add a certification to an employee profile.

Click the Maintain Vendor Technician ID's link to add or maintain vendor technician ID's.

Click Close to complete your work on the Certifications tab and return to the Employee Profile screen.
