View Logs

To open the View Logs screen, click the View Logs link in the Support drop down list from anywhere within IntelliDealer.
Note: The View Logs link will only appear if the Access View Logs switch is activated on Authorization List for User Security screen.
The View Logs screen allows you to view and send log files to VitalEdge support staff for any interface installed at your dealership.
The following search fields appear on the View Logs screen:

Select Log |
The interface you want to view or send the log files for. Note: Only interfaces installed at your dealership will appear as options in the drop down list. |
Select File |
The interface file you want to view the log for. Note: The options in this list will vary depending on the interface selected in the Select Log field. |
Filter |
Allows you to filter the log information to display only lines that contain the word, phrase or value entered in this field. Note: This field is case sensitive. |
Find |
Allows you to navigate to the first instance of the word, phrase or value entered in this field. Click Next or Previous to navigate to the different instances of the selected search term. Note: This field is case sensitive. |
The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the View Logs screen:

Send | Opens the Send Information to PFW tab, allowing you to send the selected log file to VitalEdge support staff for troubleshooting. |
Close | Closes the View Logs screen. |
