View Logs

Use the View Logs screen to view and send log files to VitalEdge support staff for any interface installed at your dealership. To access the screen, navigate to Support > View Logs

The search fields on the View Logs screen are:

Field Description
Select Log

The interface you want to view or send the log files for.

Only interfaces installed at your dealership appear as options in the drop down list.

Select File

The interface file you want to view the log for.

The options in this list vary depending on the interface selected in the Select Log field.

Filter

Filters the log information to display only lines that contain the word, phrase or value entered in this field.

This field is case sensitive.

Find

Navigates to the first instance of the word, phrase or value entered in this field. Click Next or Previous to navigate to the different instances of the selected search term.

This field is case sensitive.

Click Go >> to start the search.

Click Send to open the Send Information to IntelliDealer window, allowing you to send the selected log file to VitalEdge support staff for troubleshooting.
