Open Sales Orders

The Open Sales Orders screen allows you to view open sales orders by branch location. The open sales orders information shows you open sales order percentage by category for the selected branch location in either a bar graph or a pie chart (when available).

The Open Sales Orders screen can be accessed by navigating to Management Central > Parts > Open Sales Orders.

The search on the Open Sales Order screen are:

Select Type

Search for open sales orders by type. Available types are:

  • Sales Order—displays an aging of all parts that have been placed on a sales order that have not been issued as of the last build of Executive Summary data. The total invoiced is subtracted from the total ordered and then multiplied by the price to get the dollar value still un-billed. Inquiry tickets (order number of INQ*) are excluded from the calculation as well.

  • Sales Order Requisition—displays aging open requisitions that have not been closed as of the last build of Executive Summary data. The total invoiced is subtracted from the total ordered and then multiplied by the price to get the dollar value still un-billed. Inquiry tickets (order number of INQ*) are excluded from the calculation as well.
Select Value Search for open sales orders by value. One of: List Price, Average Cost, Cost or Not Profit.
Select Location Search for open sales orders by branch location.

Click on a List Price to view the open sales order in more detail.
