Traffic Management - Listing

You can use the Traffic Management - Listing tab to view, edit and add equipment, service, or rental traffic tickets, and to perform a consolidated print.

You can navigate to Traffic Management - Listing tab using any of these paths:

  • Product Support > Equipment > Traffic

  • Product Support > Equipment > Service

  • Product Support > Equipment > Rental

The sorting options available on the Traffic Management - Listing tab are:

Sort by
Field Description
Date Sort by the date the traffic ticket was received.
Receipt Number Sort by the receipt number.
Type

Sort by the traffic ticket type.

The search fields on the Traffic Management - Listing tab are:

Field Description
Include History If selected, includes historical traffic movements within the search.
Select Receipt Number Search by receipt number.
Select Inbound/Outbound

Select one of these options from the drop down list:

  • All—search for all types.
  • Inbound—search for only inbound.
  • Outbound—search for only outbound.
  • Transfer—search for only transfers.
Select Type

Search by selecting a receipt type from the drop down list.

Select Date Range Narrow down search results by entering a date range.
Select Customer Number Search by customer number.
Select Stock Number Search by stock number.
Select Status Search by selecting a status from the drop down list.
Select Location Search by location.

The Receipt Types are:

Receipt Types
Type Description
Demo If the unit is out on a sales demo.
Loaner If the unit is out as a loaner.
Rental If the unit is out as a rental.
Transfer If the unit is being transferred.
Sale If the unit is in the system because it was sold and is being shipped to the customer.
Purchase If the unit has been purchased.
Service If the unit is being brought in for service repairs.
Trade In If the unit is being brought in as a trade in.
Miscellaneous Any other miscellaneous unit type status.
Re-rent If the unit is being re-rented within the rental system.
Customer Transfer If the unit is being transferred from one customer location to another.
Job Site Transfer If the unit being transferred from one job site to another.

The fields on the Traffic Management-Listing tab are:

Field Description
Receipt Number The traffic ticket receipt number.
In/Out Whether the traffic ticket is inbound or outbound.
Type The traffic ticket type, see the Receipt Types table for more information.
Subtype

The user defined subtype code will be listed in the row directly underneath the Type field. The code is a subtype of the type of receipt used on a traffic ticket (e.g. a subtype of a demo receipt).

Status The status of the unit on the receipt.
Stock Number The unit's stock number.
Machine Hours The amount of hours on the unit's hour meter, listed in the row directly underneath the Stock Number field.
Description The physical description of the unit.
Make The manufacturer of the unit.
Model The model number of the unit.
From/ City The location shipping the unit.
To/ City The location receiving the unit.
Vendor/Trucker The name of the vendor/trucker shipping the unit.
Priority The shipment priority code, appears in the row directly underneath the Vendor/Trucker field.

Move the cursor over the Chevron and select either Save Defaults or Reset Defaults from the drop down list to save or reset search defaults.

Click on a Receipt Number to open the Receipt Details screen.

Click on a Stock Number to open the Equipment Profilescreen.

Click on a Customer Name next to the From/To field to open theCustomer Profile screen.

Click on the Need to create a traffic ticket? Click here to add link to create a traffic ticket.

Click the Mass Change/ Print link to change multiple traffic tickets and print the associated delivery receipts on the Mass Change/ Print screen.

Click the Receipts Completed This Month link to open the Run Parameters screen and generate the Deliveries Completed This Month report (CMPREP).
