Shops
Use the Shops screen to set up shops for all CO/DIV/BR. Valid shop codes appear on the Select Shop drop down list on the Shop/Bay Availability tab within the Service application. Valid shop codes also appear on the Shop/Bay drop down list on the Segments tab.
To open the Shops screen, navigate to Configuration > Service > Work Orders > Shops.
Note: The Shops screen must be defined first before the Bays screen can be activated or defined.
The sorting options on the Shops screen are:

| Code | Sort the search results by shop code. |
| Location | Sort the search results by branch location. |
| Description | Sort the search results by shop code description. |
The search fields on the Shops screen are:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Select Code | Search for a shop code by entering a shop code. |
| Select Location | Search for a shop code by entering a branch location. |
| Select Description | Search for a shop code by entering a shop code description. |
| Include Inactive | If selected, includes inactive shop codes within the search results. |
The fields on the Shops screen are:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Code | A two character alphanumeric code which represents the shop within the system. |
| Location | The branch location where the shop is located. |
| Description | A brief description of the shop code. |
Click a Code to edit an existing shop code.
Click the Need to create a new shop? Click here to add link to add a new shop code to the system.
Click Close to close the Shops screen and return to the Configuration Quick Links screen.
