Bays

To open the Bays screen, hover over the Configuration link from anywhere within IntelliDealer and select Service> Work Orders> Bays from the drop down list.
The Bays screen allows you to set up bays for all CO/DIV/BR. Valid bay codes appear on the Select Bay drop down list on the Shop/Bay Availability tab within the Service application. Valid bay codes also appear on the Shop/Bay drop down list on the Segments tab.
Note: The Shop screen must be defined first before the Bay screen can be activated or defined.
The following sorting options appear on the Bays screen:

Code | Sort the search results by bay code. |
Location | Sort the search results by branch location. |
Description | Sort the search results by bay code description. |
Shop | Sort the search results by shop code. |
The following search fields appear on the Bays screen:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Select Code | Search for a bay code by entering a bay code. |
Select Location | Search for a bay code by entering a branch location. |
Select Shop | Search for a bay code by entering the associated shop code. |
Select Description | Search for a bay code by entering a bay code description. |
Include Inactive | If selected, includes inactive bay codes within the search results. |
The following fields appear on the Bays screen:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Code | A two character alphanumeric code which represents the bay location within the system. |
Location | The branch location where the bay is located. |
Description | A brief description of the bay code. |
Shop | The shop location where the bay is located. |
Click on a Code to edit an existing bay code.
Click on the Need to create a new bay? Click here to add link to add a new bay code to the system.
The following button allows you to complete your work on the Bays screen:
