Executive Summary: Select View

Authorized staff members can use the Select View screen to customize the IntelliDealer Home screen to display key business information that is relevant to them. There are over 30 data views available containing everything from financial to inventory to sales information, and other trends and factors that are key indicators and drivers of the business.

To open the Select View screen, click the Click here to add summary view link on the Executive Summary Sequencing screen.

Note:  The available views depends on your level of user security access, as set in Security switch 998 - Executive Summary.

The views available for display are:

Financial

View Description
Total A/R The aging of all outstanding accounts receivable.
Highest A/R Over 120 The top 10 customers whose accounts receivable balance is over 120 days old.
Total A/P The aging of all outstanding accounts payable.
Yesterday Sales The total sales that occurred yesterday, broken into the following categories: equipment, parts invoicing, general, rental, shop labor, shop parts and total (e.g. when generating yesterday sales values and yesterday is Sunday, the system will check Saturday. If Saturday has no sales, Friday's information will be used).
Top Customer Fiscal Purchase YTD The top 10 highest purchasing customers, year-to-date.
Today's Revenue Meter Shows a daily sales budget for parts, service, equipment, rental, shop parts, shop labor and general billing.
MTD Sales The month to date sales broken into categories.
Fiscal YTD Sales

The year to date sales broken into categories.

This data is pulled based on account coding and costing data at the time of billing (MNBDD is the main file). The calculations and logic used here are essentially the same as Management Central > Financial > Area Sales.

Last Year MTD Sales The month to date sales for this date last year, broken into categories.
Last Fiscal Year YTD Sales The year to date sales for this date last year, broken into categories.
Financial Reports

Links to any financial reports that you are authorized to run.

MTD Area Sales Meter Shows month to date area sales for equipment, parts invoicing, rental, shop labor, and shop parts.
YTD Area Sales Meter

Show year to date area sales for equipment, parts invoicing, rental, shop labor, and shop parts.

The data used for this view is pulled from the chart of accounts totals based on account configuration (file COACMAST) as well as the Area Sales G/L Accounts setup under Configuration > General Ledger > G/L Accounts > Area Sales G/L Accounts (file ARASCON), if configured.

Interactive Financial Report Displays the most current data for the selected customized financial report.

Service

View Description
WIP - Balancing Displays the aging of outstanding work orders by the dollar amount that was posted to the general ledger.
WIP - List Price Displays the aging of outstanding work orders by list price.
WIP - Estimated Cost Displays the aging of outstanding work orders by cost.
Open Requisitions

Displays aging open requisitions that have not been closed as of the last build of Executive Summary data. The total invoiced is subtracted from the total ordered and then multiplied by the price to get the dollar value still un-billed. Inquiry tickets (order number of INQ*) are excluded from the calculation as well.

Service KPI Displays Key Performance Indicators for the service department of the selected location for the past 3 years.

Equipment

View Description
Recent Equipment Lost Sales The last five equipment lost sales calls. This information is collected when recording lost sales call information as part of the call recording system.
Top Equipment Buyers The top ten year-to-date equipment purchasers.
Top Equipment Salespeople The top ten year-to-date equipment salespeople.
Next Equipment Notes Due The next ten equipment notes that are due.
MTD/YTD Equipment Sales The month to date and year to date equipment sales, broken into the following categories year to date, units, month to date, units and lost sales.
5 Year Monthly Equipment Sales (in 1000s) The monthly equipment sales for the past 5 years.
Last 10 Units Sold The last ten equipment units sold by your dealership, including the unit's stock number, salesperson who sold it, date of the sale and dollar amount.
Inventory Summary Displays a listing of the number of equipment units that exist in your inventory and their total dollar value by various categories.
Used Inventory by Hours Lists the number of used equipment units, and their total dollar value by the hours meter reading on the unit.
Top Inventory $ by Group The number of equipment units and their total dollar value in each equipment group.
Inventory Aging The number of equipment units and their total dollar value listed by the age of the unit.
Top Unit Sales Territories The top ten sales territories by total sales amount.
Top Buyers Last Year The ten top buyers last year by total sales dollars.
Top Unit Salespeople LYR Last year's top ten equipment salespeople and the dollar amount of sales generated by each salesperson.
Equipment KPI Displays Key Performance Indicators for the equipment department of the selected location for the past three years.

Rental

Parts

View Description
Top Parts Sold YTD The top ten parts sold this year and the total sales amount.

Other

View Description
Employee Birthday Displays a listing of all employee birthdays.
Calls Today This view shows a list of today's calls according to the Call Scheduling application for your salesperson ID. Any outstanding calls for previous dates that have not been completed are also included.
User Links This allows authorized users to set up links to URL's from their home page. A security switch in system 998 determines whether the user is authorized to set up links.
Data Miner Links to any data miner inquiries that you are authorized to run.
Task Tracker Lists the current tasks that you are associated with.
KPI Location Comparison

Displays KPI data for each location at your dealership, for the selected time period.

Note:  The KPI Location Comparison option will only appear if you are licensed for feature number 6185 and the Access Dashboard KPI Graph switch is activated in security system 998.

Click on the name of the desired view to select a view.

Click Close to complete your work on the Select View screen and return to the Executive Summary Sequencing screen.
