Calculation of the projected amount in a service agreement
Description: The projected cash amount in a service agreement is an estimated cost of all the job codes attached in that SAM.
Solution:
This is a calculated value and depends if the job code was completed or not.
If the job code was performed then the projected cash amount will be the average of those jobs. If however the job code has not been completed then the calculations is as follows:
the parts list will be retrieved from the job code system. The parts quantity is then multiplied by the current list price (from the master price file) plus the standard job code hours of the job code, times the work order rate per hour on a technician called PM (Planned Maintenance).
Since the system looks at the tech hr. rate of PM; the projected cash amount will not be the same as that of a work order quote with the same job codes featured in it since there is a different tech number associated.
