Work Order Parts Requisition Details

The Work Order Parts Requisitions Details tab can be accessed from the Work Order Parts Requisitions screen by clicking on an Order Number.

The Work Order Parts Requisitions Details tab allows you to assign parts to a work order and assign sublets to a work order.

The following is a description of the Information fields that appear on the Work Order Parts Requisitions Details tabs:

Information
Field Description
Order Number The order number assigned to the associated requisition.
Customer

The customer on the selected work order.

Note:  
Clicking on the Information icon will open the Customer Profile screen for the corresponding customer.

Location The branch location where the work order was created.

The following is a description of the fields that appear on the Work Order Parts Requisitions Details tab:

Field Description
Work Order Number The work order number assigned to the parts requisition.
Unit

A brief description of the unit on the parts requisition.

Note:  
Clicking on the Information icon will open the Equipment Profile screen for the corresponding unit.

Salesperson The salesperson associated with the corresponding parts requisition.
Consignment The customer's consignment inventory number.
Hide Completed

If selected, this will hide completed line items on the work order parts requisition.

Note:  
When the Hide Completed field has been changed the screen will automatically refresh and save your changes.

Note:  
A security switch controls the default state of the Hide Completed field on all work order parts requisitions.

Cash Code Specifies the terms of the transaction used for the corresponding parts requisition. If the code is changed after the requisition has been authorized the user will have to re-authorize the transaction.
Part Number

The part number being sold.

Note:  
On the Parts Requisition tab a Highlighted (reverse image) indicates that the part has been sold to the same serial number within the last 12 months. A Warning icon (flashing triangle) will appear next to the highlighted part number field allowing you to view the Part History screen. Miscellaneous Parts (Vendor G/L), units marked as Internal and Wear parts are omitted.

Clicking on the Information icon will open the Parts Profile screen for the corresponding part.

Ord

The quantity of parts being ordered. If parts are being returned the quantity must be entered as a negative number.

Note:  
Allowable range is - 99,999 to 99,999.

Iss

The quantity of parts that the system can issue to fulfill the need of the parts requisition. If the Iss field appears Red the branch location you are currently in, does not have enough stock to fulfill the parts requisition.

Allowable range is - 99,999 to 99,999.

Shp The quantity shipped when the sales order is invoiced or shipping is confirmed.
Inv Indicates the quantity of the part that will be processed by the next sales order billing run.
Seg

The parts is sold to the work order segment number that entered.

Description

A brief description of the part.

Note:  
The Description field will be populated by the system if the part number is loaded on the part master file. If the part is not found, the description will be loaded from the master price file (if loaded). The user can click on the More icon to load an extended description for the part which will be printed on the invoice. The user can optionally enter their own description or import the extended description that is loaded on the part profile.

OH Bin

The part's current on hand quantity (OH) from the parts system for this part in your branch location. The bin number indicates the part's physical location.

Note:  
This field will be highlight Red when there is not enough parts in stock to fill the order.

Note:  
A reverse image Bin number indicates that alternate bins exist. Move the cursor over the Bin number to view alternate Bin location numbers.

OO OFC On Order/Order Formula Code (OFC) displays the number of parts that are on order and the order formula code for the selected part.
Price

The price of the part.

Note:  
The Price field will default to the selling price currently loaded on the part profile. If the part selling price is different than the sell price in the parts profile, the Price field will appear in reverse color. This may happen if a customer parts discount applies. If you wish to see the regular sell price, move your cursor over the price and a pop-up screen will appear. Also note that the customer pricing feature is the first source checked for price.

LDTTTTN You can view and modify the pricing level, discount, tax and non stocking codes for the selected part.
Extended Price

The unit price multiplied by the quantity.

Note:  
The Extended Price field will also show other important information about the part such as whether or not the part is a substitute (sub), a cross referenced part (xref), a remanufactured part exists (rem), if the part does not exist in the part master file (*NO MSTR) and an Add link will appear allowing you to quick add the part master to the system, or if the part has been special ordered (PO: xxxxxx) or will be added to the next stock order (PO: NextSO).

Note:  
If xref appears in uppercase, it means that the part number entered is the parent part of a cross reference relationship. If it appears in lowercase, the part entered is the child of a cross reference relationship.

Note:  
If subs appears in uppercase, it means that the part number entered is the parent part of a substitution relationship. If it appears in lowercase, the part entered is the child of a substitution relationship and the parent part number has an on hand quantity.

Invoice Total

The total chargeable amount on the invoice.

Note:  
The Total Charge field can hold up to nine digits (including two decimals places), with a maximum total charge amount of $9, 999, 999.99.

Click on the Work Order Number to open the Work Order Details screen.

Click on the Search icon next to the Consignment field to open the Consignment Inventory screen.

Click on the Purchase Order link to create a purchase order.

Click on the Customer Parts Purchases link to see a history of all of the parts that have been purchased by the customer on the invoice.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Parts Invoicing Details/Work Order Parts Requisitions Details tabs:

Button Function
PICPAK

Will print a PICPAK according to the parameters set up on the Printing Parameters screen. This is used if the order is not invoiced immediately.

Note:  
When using a point-of-sale device, you may be prompted for a signature when issuing a picpak. This is configured in the Legacy system table CMBR4.

Note:  
The PICPAK button will appear Red if a picpak has already been generated for the selected invoice.

Import Allows you to import a parts list from either a Parts Catalog, Equip Parts List, Job Code Parts List, or CSV file.
Save Saves the changes made on the Work Order Parts Requisition Details screen.
Save/Close Saves changes made on the Work Order Parts Requisition Details screen and close the screen.
Close Closes the Work Order Parts Requisitions Details tab without saving and returns to the previous screen.
Totals Displays charges, cash, warranty, tax and discount totals for both the sales order and the next requisition.
