MyDealer Online Help

For help using the application, you may direct the users to the in-app Help system, accessible from the Settings menu in the application.

The Help system opens a topic specific to the screen the user is on, in a separate browser tab or window.

MyDealer Data Sources

Information displayed in MyDealer is driven by the data stored in IntelliDealer. As such, if there is no service history for a unit in IntelliDealer, then no service history is displayed in MyDealer. If a user does not see certain information fields in the MyDealer (such as Service History on the Equipment Details screen), refer to the table below to view the source of the data.

Use the Print File Descriptions screen to print descriptions of the files listed below.

General Troubleshooting Notes

If a user leaves the application idle for more than 30 minutes, the system automatically logs them out.

Changes to a user's settings or the appearance of the application take effect immediately, however any users currently logged in to the application may have to close their session and log back on to view the changes.

If a user makes a request or places an order using the application and you do not immediately receive it, confirm the location that the order or request was created for. The Pick Up location selected for the order may be incorrect, or the user may have selected the wrong department in the Message window when creating the request.

If a user cannot view an option that they have permissions for, check what device they are using. Although MyDealer has been designed to scale down for mobile devices, functionality is currently optimized for desktop computers and tablets only.
