Add A Branch

Use the Add A Branch screen to add a new dealership location by copying the settings from an existing company, division and location.

To open the Add A Branch screen, navigate to Configuration > Utilities > Add a Branch..

Note:  The Add A Branch screen is password protected within IntelliDealer. If you do not have access to the screen, contact your system administrator.

The fields on the Add A Branch screen are:

Field Description
Copy From Company The company from which to copy the company level settings for the new location.
Copy From Division The division from which to copy the division level settings for the new location.
Copy From Branch The branch from which to copy the locationlevel settings for the new location.
Add To Company The company number of the new location.
Add To Division The division number of the new location.
Add To Branch The branch number of the new location.
Copy vendor GL parts?

Copies parts with the vendor "GL" to the new location. The new locationmust be in the same company and division. If parts are copied, a confirmation displays showing the number of parts added and the number not added. Options are:

  • Copy configured GL parts—copies only parts that are configured in tables like deposit, freight and miscellaneous charges.

  • Copy all GL parts—copies all active parts with vendor "GL".

  • Don't copy GL parts—does not copy any parts.

Use these buttons to complete your work on the Add A Branch screen:

Button Description
Submit Creates the new location using the settings from the company, division and location entered in the Copy From fields.
Close Closes the Add A Branch screen without adding the new location.
