Reasons

To open the Reasons screen, click a Code or the Need to create a new reason? Click here to add link on the Reasons screen.
The Reasons screen allows you to enter valid work order repair reason codes or edit existing work order repair reason codes throughout the work order system application.
The following fields appear on the Reasons screen:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Code | A one character alphanumeric code which represents the work order repair reason code within the system. |
| Description | A brief description of the work order repair reason code. |
| Active For System |
Controls whether the work order repair reason code is active for use within the system.
Note: This field only appears when accessing the Reasons screen by selecting a Code. |
The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Reasons screen:

|---|---|
| Save | Saves changes made on the Reasons screen. |
| Copy |
Copies the selected work order repair reason code. Note: This button appears only by accessing the Reasons screen by clicking on a Code. |
| Save & New |
Saves a newly added work order repair reason code and refreshes the Reasons screen, allowing you to add another work order repair reason code without closing the screen. Note: This button appears only by accessing the Reasons screen by clicking the Need to create a new reason? Click here to add link. |
| Save & Next |
Allows you to save any edits\changes made to the selected work order repair reason code and scroll through to the next work order repair reason code in the list to apply any edits/changes. Note: This button appears only by accessing the Reasons screen by clicking on a Code. |
| Close | Closes the Reasons screen without saving and returns to the Reasons screen. |
