Creating a Mobile Phone Carrier Code

To create a mobile phone carrier code, complete the following steps:

1. From any IntelliDealer screen, click on the Configuration tab.
   
   The Configuration Quick Links screen will appear.

2. From the Miscellaneous list, click the Other link and select Mobile Phone Carriers from the drop down list.

3. The Mobile Phone Carriers screen will appear.

4. On the Mobile Phone Carriers screen, click the Need to create a new phone carrier? Click here to add link.
   The Add Carrier Code window will appear.

5. On the Add Carrier Code window, enter the Code, Name, and SMS Address for the new carrier code and click Save.
   The system will return to the Mobile Phone Carriers screen.

   Note:  The Code for each carrier must be unique.

   Note:  The SMS Address is available through the carrier.

   Note:  By default, all newly created carrier codes are active in the system.

6. (OPTIONAL) To deactivate the carrier code, click the Code on the Mobile Phone Carriers screen to open the Edit Carrier Code window.

7. (OPTIONAL) On the Edit Carrier Code window, select the Active for System check box and click Save.
