Configuration: Terminals
The Terminals screen lists work station sessions. Only display sessions are defined in this table; printers are not configured here. It also allows you to configure and add the workstation session used at your dealership to access the green screen terminals.
The Terminals screen is accessed from Configuration > Miscellaneous > Other > Terminals.
Each session ID is associated to a default Assigned Company, Assigned Division and Assigned Branch. When a user logs into a session, they are automatically working in that company, division, branch. Authorized users can access another company, division or branch in the system by changing their location in IntelliDealer using the My Profile screen.

Configuring a New Terminal
Before setting up a new terminal configuration, examine the listings on the Terminals screen and search for the last two digits of the library. In the example below, they are 01.
Since I01A, I01B, I01C, and I01D are configured, the new configuration should follow the sequence and its ID be I01E.
Either that, or use an existing terminal that is not in use. However, the dealer is responsible for keeping track of which ones are in use and by whom. The application does not track or know which sessions are in use.
Click the Create button to open a new window where an additional Terminal can be configured.
The Save & Close button saves the current entry and closes the window.
The Save & New button saves the current entry and open a New creation window.
Editing a Terminal Configuration
You cannot update a terminal if there is data in procedure, sub procedure or in the restart data of a table.
