Promotion Code

To open the Promotion Code screen, hover over the Configuration link from anywhere within IntelliDealer and select Miscellaneous> Other> Promotion Code from the drop down list.

The Promotion Code screen allows you to add and maintain predefined (promotion) descriptions that can be imported into text boxes across the system (e.g. parts quotes, work order quotes). Valid Promotional Codes appear on the Promotion Codes screen accessed by clicking on the Search icon next to a Description field throughout the quoting system applications available within IntelliDealer.

The following sorting options appear on the Promotion Code screen:

Sort by
Field	Description
Code	Sort the search results by promotion code.
Location	Sort the search results by location.

The following search fields appear on the Promotion Code screen:

Field	Description
Select Code	Search for a promotion code by entering a promotion code.
Select Location	Search for a promotion code by entering a location.

The following fields appear on the Promotion Code screen:

Field	Description
Code	The promotion code.
Location	The location of the promotion code.

Click on the Need to create a new promotion code? Click here to add link to add a promotion code.

Move the cursor over a Code and select Edit from the pop-up menu to edit a promotion code.

Move the cursor over a Code and select Copy from the pop-up menu to copy a promotion code.

The following button allows you to complete your work on the Promotion Code screen:

Close	Closes the Promotion Code screen and returns to the Configuration Quick Links screen.
