Customer Profile
To access the Work With Security Switches screen, click the link for the desired system or switch. You can control access to the security switch for individual users or user groups.

Add Customer | Allows the user to add a customer profile accessed from the Your Customers screen. When enabled, the Need to create a new customer? Click here to add link appears. |
Change Customer | Allows the user to change a customer profile on the Customer Profile tab, by clicking on the View/Edit Profile link on the Customer Profile screen. |
Delete Customer | Allows the user to delete a customer profile on the Customer Profile tab. When enabled, a Delete button appears. |
Access Contact | Gives the user access to the Contacts tab accessed through the Customer Profile screen by clicking on the View/Edit Profile link. |
Add Contact | Allows the user to add a customer contact to the customer's profile, accessed from the Contacts tab. When enabled, the Click here to add a contact link appears. |
Change Contact | Allows the user to save changes made on the Edit Contacts screen, accessed by clicking on a Name on the Contacts tab. When enabled, a Save button appears. |
Delete Contact | Allows the user to deactivate the Active field on the Edit Contact screen. |
Access Cross Reference | Gives the user access to the Cross Reference tab accessed through the Customer Profile screen by clicking on the View/Edit Profile link. |
Modify Cross Reference | Allows the user to save changes made on the Cross Reference tab. When enabled, a Save button appears. |
Modify Memos | Allows the user to save changes made on the Memos tab, accessed through the Customer Profile screen by clicking on the View/Edit Profile link. |
Access A/R Agencies | Gives the user access to the A/R Agency tab accessed through the Customer Profile screen by clicking on the View/Edit Profile link. |
Add A/R Agency | Allows the user to add an A/R agency to a customer profile, accessed from the Contacts tab. When enabled, the Click here to add agency link appears. |
Modify A/R Agency | Allows the user to save changes made on the A/R Agency tab. When enabled, a Save button appears. |
Access Rental Information | Gives the user access to the Rental tab accessed through the Customer Profile screen by clicking on the View/Edit Profile link. |
Modify Rental Information | Allows the user to save changes made on the Rental tab. When enabled, a Save button appears. |
Access Ship To | Gives the user access to the Ship To tab accessed through the Customer Profile screen by clicking on the View/Edit Profile link. |
Add Ship To | Allows the user to add a ship to location to a customer profile, accessed from the Ship To tab. When enabled, the Click here to add a ship to location link appears. |
Change Ship To | Allows the user to save changes to a ship to location on the Edit Alternate Ship to screen, accessed by clicking on the Click here to add a ship to location link on the Ship to tab. When enabled, a Save button appears on the Edit Alternate Ship to screen. |
Delete Ship To | Allows the user to delete a ship to location on the Edit Alternate Ship to screen, accessed by clicking on the Click here to add a ship to location link on the Ship to tab. When enabled, a Delete button appears on the Edit Alternate Ship to screen. |
Add Equipment | Allows the user to add an equipment unit to a customer profile |
Modify All Calls | Allows the user to modify other user's calls. |
Access Multimedia | Gives the user access to the Multimedia tab accessed through the Customer Profile screen by clicking on the View/Edit Profile link. |
Add Multimedia | Allows the user to add multimedia to a customer profile, accessed from the Multimedia tab. When enabled, the Click here to add new link link appears. |
Modify Multimedia | Allows the user to edit a multimedia link on the Multimedia tab. Click on the Title of the multimedia link to access the Edit Link screen. When enabled, the Title of the multimedia link is highlighted. |
Access Custom Screens | Gives the user access to any custom screens created for Customer Profile. |
Modify Custom Screens | Allows the user to save changes made on any customer screens created for Customer Profile. |
Limited Profile Screen | Reduces the available data entry fields on the Customer Profile screen. The system removes accounting related fields such as Terms, Tax, Discount etc. |
Access Tax Codes | Gives the user access to the Location Tax tab accessed through the Customer Profile screen by clicking on the View/Edit Profile link. |
Add Tax Codes | Allows the user to add location tax codes to a customer profile, accessed from the Location Tax tab. When enabled, the Need to create a new location tax code? Click here to addlink appears. |
Change Tax Codes | Allows the user to save changes to a location tax code on the Edit Tax Code screen, accessed by clicking on the Need to create a new tax location code? Click here to add link on the Location Tax tab. When enabled, a Save button appears on the Edit Tax Code screen. |
Delete Tax Codes | Allows the user to delete a location tax code on the Edit Tax Code screen, accessed by clicking on the Click here to add a ship to location link on the Ship to tab. When enabled, a Delete button appears on the Edit Tax Code screen. |
Secure by Salesperson | Prevents the user from searching by salesperson on the screens within Customer Profile by locking their salesperson ID in the Select Salesperson field. |
Can Only Change Prospect Customers | When enabled, the user can only edit or update Prospect customer profiles. |
Can Only Add Prospect Customers | When enabled, the user can only add prospective customers to the system. The Active and Prospect radio buttons will not appear on the Add Customer screen. |
Access Alerts | Allows the user to access the Alerts tab in the Customer Profile. |
Add Alerts | Allows the user to add alerts to the Alerts tab in the Customer Profile. |
Delete Alerts | Allows the user to delete alerts from the Alerts tab in the Customer Profile. |
Access Miscellaneous Customer Checkbox | Allows the user to access the 'Miscellaneous' checkbox on the Customer Profile screen. |
Allow Duplicate MyDealer User IDs | Allows multiple sign ins of the same user ID in MyDealer. |
Access PI Report | Allows the user to access the Personal Information report for review and audit. |
Delete Personal Information |
Allows the user to access the Delete Personal Information option on a Customer Profile. |

Enable Update/Add Customer button | When enabled, the Update/Add Customer appears on the Customer Exemption Certificates screen from the Customer Profile quick links. |
Request Certificate button | When enabled, the Request Certificate button appears on the Customer Exemption Certificates screen from the Customer Profile quick links. |
Enable Download button | When enabled, the Download button appears within the Certificate Information window of an available certificate listed on the Customer Exemption Certificates screen from the Customer Profile quick links. |
Enable Revoke Certificate button | When enabled, the Revoke Certificate button appears within the Certificate Information window of an available certificate listed on the Customer Exemption Certificates screen from the Customer Profile quick links. |
Show Notifications when utilizing Customer |
Allows the user to control when notifications appear within the system. The default setting is No Notifications. A link identifying that the customer has notifications is displayed on the customer portal and invoicing screens. For configuration information see Customer: Notifications. |
