Configuration: Downtime Delay Codes

Use the Downtime Delay Codes screen to edit a downtime delay code or add downtime delay codes to the system. Downtime Delay codes are used on the work order to indicate why a segment has been delayed and can be used for selecting and reporting purposes.

To open the Downtime Delay Codes screen, navigate to Configuration > Service > Work Orders > Downtime Delay Code.

The fields on the Downtime Delay Codes screen are:

Field Description
Code Downtime delay codes are used to indicate why a repair has been delayed.
Description A brief description of the downtime delay code.
Active for System

Controls whether the downtime delay code is active for use within the system.

  • Selected—activates or reactivates the downtime delay code within the system.
  • Not Selected—indicates that the downtime delay code is deactivated within the system.

This field appears only when accessing the Downtime Delay Codes screen by clicking a Code.

Use these buttons to complete your work on the Downtime Delay Codes screen:

Button Description
Save Saves changes made on the Downtime Delay Codes screen.
Copy

Copies the selected downtime delay code.

This button appears only when accessing the Downtime Delay Codes screen by clicking a Code.

Save & New

Saves a newly added downtime delay code and refreshes the Downtime Delay Codes screen allowing you to add another downtime delay code without closing the screen.

Save & Next

Saves any edits/changes made to the selected downtime delay code and scrolls through to the next downtime delay code in the list to apply any edits/changes.

This button appears only when accessing the Downtime Delay Codes screen by clicking a Code.

Close Closes the Downtime Delay Codes screen without saving and returns to the Downtime Delay Codes screen.
