Configuration: Marital Status Listing

Use the Marital Status screen to search for, edit, and add employee marital status codes. Marital Status codes added to the system appear as valid options in the Marital Status field drop-down list on the Employee Profile tab within the Payroll module.

To open the Marital Status screen, navigate to Configuration > General Ledger > Employee > Marital Status.

Adding a Marital Status Code

  1. From anywhere in IntelliDealer screen, navigate to Configuration > General Ledger > Employee > Marital Status.

  2. Click Need to create a new marital status? Click here to add.

  3. Enter an employee marital status Code and Description.

  4. Click Save button to save the new employee marital status code and return to the Marital Status screen.
    - or -
    Click Save & New button to save the new employee marital status code.
    The Marital Status screen refreshes, allowing you to add another employee marital status code without closing the screen.

Deactivating a Marital Status Code

  1. From anywhere in IntelliDealer screen, navigate to Configuration > General Ledger > Employee > Marital Status.

  2. Fill out the appropriate fields and click Go > >.



  3. Click the Code.



  4. Select the Active for System checkbox, removing the checkmark.

  5. Click on the Save button in order to deactivate the employee marital status code within the system.

Screen Description

The sorting options on the Marital Status screen are:

Sort by
Field Description
Code Sort the search results by marital status code.
Description Sort the search results by marital status code description

The search fields on the Marital Status screen are:

Field Description
Select Code Search for a marital code by entering a marital code.
Select Description Search for a marital code by entering a marital code description.
Include Inactive If selected, includes inactive employee marital status codes within the search.

The fields on the Marital Status screen are:

Field Description
Code A one character alphanumeric code used to define the employee marital status code within the payroll system.
Description A brief description of the employee marital status code.
