Warranty Types (List & Add)

To open the Warranty Types screen, hover over the Configuration link from anywhere within IntelliDealer and select Service> Agreements & Warranty> Warranty Types from the drop down list.

The Warranty Types screen allows you to see which warranty failure type codes are in the system.

The following sorting options appear on the Warranty Types screen:

Sort by
Field	Description
Code	Sort the search results by code.
Description	Sort the search results by the code description.

The following search fields appear on the Warranty Types screen:

Field	Description
Select Code	Search for a warranty type code by entering a whole or partial code.
Select Description	Search for a warranty type code by entering a whole or partial description.
Include Inactive	Show or hide warranty type codes that are not currently active for the system.

The following fields appear on the Warranty Types screen:

Field	Description
Code	The warranty type code.
Description	A description of the warranty type code.

Click on the Need to create a new warranty type? Click here to add link to add a new warranty type code to the list.

The following button allows you to complete your work on the Warranty Types screen:

Button	Function
Close	Closes the Warranty Types screen and returns to the Configuration Quick Links screen.
