MyDealer Settings: Location Tab

The Location tab lets you control specific behaviors for contacts at the location level.

To open the MyDealer Settings screen, from anywhere within IntelliDealer navigate to Administration > MyDealer Settings > System then select the Location tab.

The fields in the Location tab of the MyDealer Settings screen are:

Select Location

The location for which the following contact information will apply.

To/CC Account Contact The email address and carbon copy that distributes the welcome email to new users and is also the account contacted when a user inquires about their Account. (ie. when Account is selected in the Department field of the Message window in MyDealer.)
To/CC Equipment Contact The email address and carbon copy that is contacted when a user inquires about a piece of Equipment. (ie. when Equipment is selected in the Department field of the Message window in MyDealer.)
To/CC Equipment Service Contact The email address and carbon copy that is contacted when a user inquires about Service for a piece of equipment. (ie. when Service is selected in the Department field of the Message window in MyDealer.)
To/CC Rental Contact The email address and carbon copy that is contacted when a user inquires about a piece of Rental equipment. (ie. when Rental is selected in the Department field of the Message window in MyDealer.)
To/CC Part Contact The email address and carbon copy that is contacted when a user inquires about a Part. (ie. when Parts is selected in the Department field of the Message window in MyDealer.)
To/CC Web Order Contact The email address and carbon copy that is contacted when a user places an order through the application.
To/CC Part History Contact

The email address and carbon copy that is contacted when a user inquires about the history of a part.

Note:  This email address will not be implemented into the application until a later date.

To/CC Quote Contact The email address and carbon copy that is contacted when a user inquires about a Quote. (ie. when Quotes is selected in the Department field of the Message window in MyDealer.)
Dealership Website URL

The website URL that users are directed to when they select the About link in the Settings menu of MyDealer (Settings> About).

The URL you enter should include either http:// or https://. When unspecified, IntelliDealer defaults to adding http://.

Rental Phone Number

The phone number that is displayed when the user wants to contact the dealership by phone about a listing on the Equipment for Rent screen of the application.

MyDealer Home Page Image

The image that is displayed on the Home screen in MyDealer (the home page appears after the user has logged in).

The recommended dimensions are 1366 x 768px with a resolution of at least 1080ppi. If the image is a different size, IntelliDealer will resize it to fit, keeping scaling correct, and adding white space if required.

Phone Number The general phone number that is displayed within the application when users want to contact the dealership by phone.
Parts and Service Phone Number

The phone number that is displayed when the user wants to contact the dealership by phone regarding a Parts or Service inquiry.

Note:  This phone number will not be implemented into the application until a later date.

Default Picpak Printer

The picpak printer that is used only when an order is placed using MyDealer for a location other than the branch specified in the Business Location field of the MyDealer Information screen. If an order is placed for the location specified in the Business Location field, this field is ignored and the Picpak Printer specified on the MyDealer Administration screen is used.

Note:  A picpak is only generated if the Generate Picpak switch is activated on the MyDealer Information screen.

Dealership Logo

The image used for the logo that displays within MyDealer. The recommended dimensions for the logo are 250x100px.

Use these buttons to complete your work on the MyDealer Settings screen:

Button Function
Save Saves the settings currently entered on the screen.
Close Closes the MyDealer Settings screen without saving any changes.
