Edit Customer
To open the Edit Customer window, tap the Edit
icon on the Customer Detail screen.
The Edit Customer window displays the selected customer's information and allows you to perform the following:

To edit the contact and address information for the selected customer |
Enter the updated information, then tap the Update Customer button. The changes are saved to the customer profile. |
| To return to the Customer Detail screen without saving any changes | Tap anywhere outside of the Edit Customer window or tap the Back icon. |
The fields on the Edit Customer window are:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Status | The status of the customer; either Active, Deleted or Prospect. |
| Category | The type of customer profile; either Business, Individual, Internal or Related. |
| Title | The title (Mr, Mrs, Dr, etc.) that applies to the selected customer (if applicable.) |
| First Name | Mandatory. The customer's first name. |
| Middle Initials | The initial letter of the middle name(s) of the customer. |
| Last Name | Mandatory. The customer's last name. |
| Customer Name | The customer name, as it will appear in the system. |
| Address | The customer's street address. |
| City | The city that the customer is located in. |
| Country/Province/State | The country and province/ state that the customer is located in. |
| Postal Code | The customer's postal code. |
| Phone Number | The customer's phone number. |
| Cell Number | The customer's cell phone number. |
| The customer's email address. | |
| Salesperson | The salesperson associated with the customer. |
| Search 1 | The first five characters of a customer’s last name or a company’s first name. |
| Location | The default location assigned to the customer. |
| Township | The abbreviation of the township where the customer resides. |
| Lot | The customer's lot number. |
| Concession | The customer's concession number. |
| Business Classification | The customer's business classification, assigned by your dealership. |
| Size | The customer size classification, assigned by your dealership. |
| Type | The customer's business type, used for classification purposes. |
| Owner | Indicates whether the equipment is operated by the owner. Other dealer-defined codes can be used. |
| Equipment | Used to indicate a rating code for the Equipment Profile tab, as defined by your dealership. |
