Work Order Segments

Use the Work Order Segments window to select the specific work order segment you want to begin working on.

To open the Work Order Segments window, on the MobileTech screen, select the work order you want to log onto using the Check Mark icon then tap on the work order. This Check Mark puts the work order in a Mobile Enabled status. You can only log hours on the work order from this state. If the Mobile Enabled check is deselected, you cannot modifiy the work order.

The fields on the Work Order Segments window are:

Field Description
Work Order Number/ Segment The work order number and segment.
Job Code Description The description of the job code assigned to the segment.
Start Date The date on which service for the selected segment first began.
Job Code Hours The number of hours required for the service on the segment, as defined by the job code assigned to the segment.
Hours Worked The amount of time that the selected segment has been worked on, in hours.

To log on to a work order segment, tap the desired segment. The Logged On screen appears.

The technician can use the Sign Off button once the repairs associated with that segment are complete. Clicking on Sign Off confirms all updates have been posted to IntelliDealer and removes the Mobile Enabled flag in IntelliDealer. Once a segment is signed off, parts or labor transactions can no longer be posted to the segment. The segment is also removed from the Work Order Segment screen (and if it's the last Segment assigned to technician – the work order is removed from ID MobileAccess).

Note:  This function is controlled by within IntelliDealer by security switch 812 Product Support - IntelliTech - Access Sign Off.
