Data Miner
Data Miner allows you to build your own data access views so you can extract the information you need to make management-level decisions. Queries can be saved for future use.
To open the Data Miner screen, from anywhere in IntelliDealer, navigate to Management Central > Utilities > Data Miner. Or, to run data miner queries from the home page, add the Data Miner option to your Executive Summary.
To easily organize the key data you want to extract, you can specify columns, selection criteria, and sort order. Queries are based on the files, columns, and rows you specify, allowing you to extract the just customer, finance, equipment, parts, and marketing information that you need. You can set authorities for your query so that only select users can view it.

The search fields on the Data Miner screen are:

| Select User | Search or queries by entering the ID of the user who created the query. |
| Select Query | Search for queries by name. |
| Select Description | Search for queries by description. |
The fields on the Data Miner screen are:

| Description | A brief description of the query. |
| Created by | The user who created the query. |
| Date Created | The date the query was created. |
| Date Last Modified | The date the query was last modified. |
| Date Last Run | The date the query was last run. |
Hover over a query name and choose one of these options:

Edit- edit the query.

Copy- copy the query.

Run- run the query.
To create a new query, click Need to create a new query? Click here to add .
To download a query from the Data Miner Repository, click Download query from Data Miner Repository. This link only appears if the Download Queries from Data Miner Repository switch is activated in security system 505.
