Unit of Measure

The Unit of Measure screen can be accessed from the Unit of Measure screen by clicking on either the Need to create a new unit of measure? Click here to add link or by clicking on a Code.

The Unit of Measure screen allows you to add a new unit of measure code to the system or maintain an existing unit of measure code.

The following is a description of the fields that appear on the Unit of Measure screen:

Field Description
Code A four character alphanumeric code used to define the shipping unit of measure code.
Description A brief description of the unit of measure code.
Active for System

Controls whether the unit of measure code is active for use within the system.

  • Selected: Activates or reactivates the unit of measure code within the system.

  • Not Selected: Indicates that the unit of measure code is deactivated within the system.

Note:  
This field only appears when accessing the Unit of Measure screen by selecting a Code.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Unit of Measure screen:

Button Function
Save Saves changes made on the Unit of Measure screen.
Copy

Copies the select unit of measure code.

Note:  

This button appears only by accessing the Unit of Measure screen by clicking on a Code.
Save & New

Saves a newly added unit of measure code and refreshes the Unit of Measure screen, allowing you to add another unit of measure code without closing the screen.

Save & Next

Allows you to save any edits\changes made to the selected unit of measure code and scroll through to the next unit of measure code in the list to apply any edits/changes.

Close Closes the Unit of Measure screen without saving and returns to the Unit of Measure screen
