Salespeople
Use the Salespeople screen to edit or add a new salesperson code.
To open the Salespeople screen, click a Code or the Need to create a new salesperson? Click here to add link on the Salespeople screen.
The fields on the Salespeople screen are:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Code | A three character alphanumeric code that represents the salesperson code throughout the system. |
| Name | The name of the salesperson. |
| Search Location | The location where the salesperson code will appear as a valid code. |
| Phone Number | The salesperson's phone number. |
| Cell Number | The salesperson's cell phone number. |
| Email Address | The salesperson's email address. |
| Active for System |
Controls whether the salesperson code is active for use within the system. Options are:

The salesperson Name, Phone Number, Cell Number, and Email Address can be used when adding an invoice or quote message on the Invoice Message screen, as substitution variables.
For example, instead of signing a particular salesperson's name on an invoice or quote message, the substitution variable &SMN################### can be used. The # signs are placeholders for the salesperson's name.
Use these buttons to complete your work on the Salespeoplescreen:
| Button | Function |
|---|---|
| Save | Saves changes made on the Salespeople screen. |
| Copy | This button appears only by accessing the Salespeople screen by clicking on a Code. |
| Save & New |
Saves a newly added salesperson code and refreshes the Salespeople screen, allowing you to add another salesperson code without closing the screen. This button appears only when accessing the Salespeople screen by clicking the Need to create a new salesperson? Click here to add link. |
| Save & Next |
Allows you to save any edits/changes made to the selected salesperson code and scroll through to the next salesperson code in the list to apply any edits/changes. This button appears only when accessing the Salespeople screen by clicking on a Code. |
| Close | Closes the Salespeople screen without saving and returns to the Salespeople screen. |
