Signature Positioning (Add & Edit)
Note: Signatures collected via these devices are completely independent of VESign.
Use the Signature Positioning screen to configure offsets for the printing of captured signatures at your dealership.
To open the Signature Positioning screen, click a System name or the Need to add a signature offset? Click here to add link on the Signature Positioning screen.
The fields on the Signature Positioning screen are:
| Field | Description |

| System Number | Select the system to create an offset for. |
| Offset - Across |
The offset across value (in inches) identifying the point of origin to begin printing the captured signature image. The value keyed must be between 0.000 and 22.750 inches. |
| Offset - Down |
The offset down value (in inches) identifying the point of origin to begin printing the captured signature image. The value keyed must be between 0.000 and 22.750 inches. |
Use these buttons to complete your work on the Signature Positioning screen:
| Button | Description |
|---|---|
| Save | Saves changes made to the Signature Positioning screen. |
| Copy |
Copies the settings for this system to a new system signature offset file. This button appears only when accessing the Signature Positioning screen by clicking a System. |
| Save & New | Saves a newly added signature offset file and refreshes the Signature Positioning screen allowing you to add another offset. |
| Save & Next |
Saves any edits/changes made to the selected signature offset and scrolls through to the next file in the list to apply any edits/changes. This button appears only when accessing the Signature Positioning screen by clicking a System. |
| Close | Closes the Signature Positioning screen without saving and returns to the Signature Positioning screen. |
