Product Support - Parts Profile
To access the Work With Security Switches screen, click the link for the desired system or switch. You can control access to the security switch for individual users or user groups.

| Add Part | Allows the user to add a new part accessed from the Parts Listing screen. When enabled, the Create button appears. |

| Change Part | Allows the user to save changes made to the Parts Profile screen. When enabled, a Save button appears. |
| Delete Part | Allows the user to delete a newly created parts profile on the Parts Profile screen. When enabled, a Delete button appears. |
| Copy Part | Allows the user to copy a part. When enabled, a Copy option appears on the drop down list accessible by moving the cursor over a Part Number number on the Your Parts Inventory screen. |
| Modify Ordering Parameters | Allows the user to modify the ordering parameters for a selected part. See Ordering Information. |
| Access Cross Reference | Gives the user access to the Cross Reference tab through the Parts Profile screen by clicking on a Update/View Profile link. |
| Modify Cross Reference | Allows the user to save changes made to the Cross Reference tab. When enabled, a Save button appears. |
| Modify Memos | Allows the user to save changes made to the Memos tab. When enabled, a Save button appears. |
| Access Long Description | Gives the user access to the Long Description tab through the Parts Profile screen by clicking on a Update/View Profile link. |
| Modify Long Description | Allows the user to save changes made to the Long Description tab. When enabled, a Save button appears. |
| Access Alternate Bins | Gives the user access to the Bins tab through the Parts Profile screen by clicking on a Update/View Profile link. |
| Modify Alternate Bins | Allows the user to save changes made to the Bins tab. When enabled, a Save button appears. |
| Access Substitutions | Gives the user access to the Subs tab through the Parts Profile screen by clicking on a Update/View Profile link. |
| Modify Substitutions | Allows the user to save changes made to the Subs tab. When enabled, a Save button appears. |
| Access Reman/Core | Gives the user access to the Reman/Core tab through the Parts Profile screen by clicking on a Update/View Profile link. |
| Modify Reman/Core | Allows the user to save changes made to the Reman/Core tab. When enabled, a Save button appears. |
| Access Alternate Suppliers | Gives the user access to the Alternative Supplier tab through the Parts Profile screen by clicking on a Update/View Profile link. |
| Add Alternate Suppliers | Allows the user to add an alternative supplier accessed from the Alternative Supplier tab. When enabled, the Click here to add parts supplier ling appears. |
| Modify Alternate Suppliers | Allows the user to save changes made to the Alternative Supplier screen. Accessed from the Alternate Supplier tab by clicking on the Click here to add a parts supplier link. When enabled, a Save button appears. |
| Delete Alternate Suppliers | Allows the user to delete an alternate supplier on the Alternative Supplier screen. Accessed from the Alternate Supplier tab by clicking on the Click here to add a parts supplier link. When enabled, a Delete button appears. |
| Copy Alternate Suppliers | Allows the user to copy an alternate supplier from on the Alternate Supplier tab. When enabled, a Copy option appears on the drop down list accessible by moving the cursor over a Vendor number on the Alternate Supplier screen. |
| Access Suggested Orders | Gives the user access to suggested ordering parameters though the Ordering Information tab. When enabled, the Click here for suggested ordering parameters link appears. |
| Change History | Allows the user to change the Sales History on the Order Information tab. Accessed through the Parts Profile tab by clicking on the Update/Edit Profile link. |
| Change Average Cost | Allows the user to change the average cost field on the Parts Profile tab. |
| Access Custom Screens | Gives the user access to any custom screen that has been created for Parts Profile. |
| Modify Custom Screens | Allows the user to save changes made to any custom screen created for Parts Profile. |
| Access Parts Kits | Gives the user access to the Kits tab through the Parts Profile screen by clicking on the Update/View Profile link. |
| Modify Parts Kits | Allows the user to save changes made to the Kits tab. When enabled, a Save button appears. |
| Allow Group File Changes | Gives the user access to perform group file changes through the Your Parts Inventory screen by clicking on Perform group file changes link. |
| Show On Order Special Orders by Default | When enabled, the system automatically checks the Show Special Orders checkbox when the user enters the On Order Details screen. |
| Add Related Part | Allows user to add related parts by clicking on the Click here to add a related part link on the Related Parts tab through the Parts Profile screen by clicking Update/View Profile. |
| Modify Related Part | Allows the user to save changes made to the Related Part screen. When enabled, the Part Number of the Related Parts tab appears as a link. |
| Delete Related Part | Allows the user to delete a related part from on the Related Part screen. Accessed from the Related Parts tab by clicking on the part number name. When enabled, a Delete button appears. |
| Access Multimedia | Gives the user access to the Multimedia tab through the Update/View Profile link on the Parts Profile screen. |
| Add Multimedia | Allows the user to add a new multimedia link on the Multimedia tab. When enabled, the Click here to add new link link appears. |
| Modify Multimedia | Allows the user to save changes on the Add Link screen. When enabled, a Save button appears. |
| Access Komatsu Parts Promo Pricing | Allows the user these fields on the Komatsu NPS Parts Availability interface: Promotional Dealer Net Price, Promotional List Price, and Expiration Date. |
| Access Price Inquiry | Allows the user access to the Pricing Inquiry screens from the Parts Profile. |
