Long Description

To open the Long Description tab, click the Update/ View Profile link on the Parts Profile, Parts Order, Consolidated Parts Order, or Pending Order Receipts screens.

If the Long Description tab is accessed from either the Parts Order, Consolidated Parts Order, or Pending Order Receipt screens you will only be able to view the parts long description.

If the Long Description tab is accessed from the Parts Profile screen, you will be able to load an extended description for this part. When an invoice is created for this part number, this description can be optionally loaded and printed on the parts invoice.

The following buttons allow you to complete your work on the Long Description tab:

Button	Function
Save	Saves changes made on the Long Description tab.
Close	Closes the Long Description tab without saving and returns to the previous screen.
