VitalEngage Text: Credentials
This feature is currently in beta.
Use this screen to configure IntelliDealer with your dealership's Twilio credentials. Twilio is a cloud communications platform integrated with IntelliDealer to provide the VitalEngage Text feature. You must obtain your credentials from your Twilio account.
To access the VitalEngage Text Credentials screen, from anywhere in IntelliDealer, navigate to Configuration > Interfaces > VitalEngage Text > Credentials.
Note: This screen is password protected. To edit this screen, click the lock icon located in the upper right corner. The Support Password screen opens.
The fields on the Credentials screen are:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Twilio Account SID | A 34-character alphanumeric identifier used to identify a specific Twilio Parent Account or Subaccount. |
Twilio Auth Token | A password used to authenticate API requests. |
Twilio Service SID | A unique identifier used in Twilio's API to reference a specific service. |
Twilio Api Key SID | A key used to authenticate API requests. |
Twilio Api Secret | A password for the API key. |
Click Save to save the credentials.
Click Test VitalEngage Text Connection to ensure you have the correct configuration. A message appears at the top of the screen with the results.
