Configuration: Sales Tax Update
Use the Sales Tax Update screen to view and configure any sales tax updates that should be applied at your dealership.
To open the Sales Tax Update screen, navigate to Configuration > Parts > Profile > Sales Tax Update .
Note: After configuring the desired sales tax updates on this screen, the update will occur when the update program is run from the green screen application (HGUPD01). The update program can be run manually, or scheduled to run automatically.
Screen Description
The search fields on the Sales Tax Update screen are:

| Select Vendor | Search for a sales tax update by the vendor associated to the update. |
| Select Class | Search for a sales tax update by the class associated to the update. |
| Select Location | Search for a sales tax update by the location associated to the update. |
The fields on the Sales Tax Update screen are:

| Class | The part class associated to the update. |
| Tax 1/ Tax 2/ Tax 3/ Tax 4 |
The Tax 1/2/3/4 codes that will be applied to the parts for the selected Vendor/ Location/ Class combination when the update program (HGUPD01) is run from the green screen application. Note: Valid tax codes are configured on the Tax1, Tax2, Tax3, and Tax4 screens. |
