Sales Tax Update

To open the Sales Tax Update screen, hover over the Configuration link from anywhere within IntelliDealer and select Parts> Profile> Sales Tax Update from the drop down list.

The Sales Tax Update screen allows you to view and configure any sales tax updates that should be applied at your dealership.

Note:  After configuring the desired sales tax updates on this screen, the update will occur when the update program is run from the green screen application (HGUPD01). The update program can be run manually, or scheduled to run automatically.

The following search fields appear on the Sales Tax Update screen:

Field	Description
Select Vendor	Search for a sales tax update by the vendor associated to the update.
Select Class	Search for a sales tax update by the class associated to the update.
Select Location	Search for a sales tax update by the location associated to the update.

The following fields appear on the Sales Tax Update screen:

Field	Description
Vendor	The vendor associated to the update.
Location	The location associated to the update.
Class	The part class associated to the update.
Tax 1/ Tax 2/ Tax 3/ Tax 4	The Tax 1/2/3/4 codes that will be applied to the parts for the selected Vendor/ Location/ Class combination when the update program (HGUPD01) is run from the green screen application. Note:  Valid tax codes are configured on the Tax1, Tax2, Tax3, and Tax4 screens.

The following button allows you to complete your work on the Sales Tax Update Screen:
