Safety Messages By Category Class

Use the Safety Messages by Category Class screen to assign safety messages to specific rental equipment categories, classes, and subclasses.

To open the Safety Messages by Category Class screen, navigate to Configuration > Rental > Setup > Safety Messages by Category Class.

The fields on the Safety Messages by Category Class screen are:

Field	Description
Category	The unit's category code. Use to catalog the unit into a hierarchy used for classification.
Class	The unit's class is used to further break down a unit's category code.
Subclass	The unit's subclass is used to further break down a unit's category and class codes.
Stock Number	The unit's stock number.
Message Number	The number used to identify the message.
Sequence Number	The number used to define at what point within a sequence that the safety message is displayed on a unit.
Expiry Date	The expiry date on the unit.
Shown On	Determines where the messages are displayed. Print—selected safety message appears on printed output. Screen—selected safety message appears on screen within IntelliDealer. Both—selected safety message appears both on screen and on printed output.

To create a new Safety Message by Category/Class/Subclass, click Create.

Use the search function or key in entries where needed.

The buttons on the New Safety Message by Category/Class/Subclass window are:

• Save & Close—saves any entered data and closes the window.
• Save & New—saves any entered data and opens a new window for another entry.
