History Sub-Types: Listing
Use the History Sub-Types screen to set up subtypes for History and Equipment Inventory application types for G/L accounts used within the Equipment system. History and Equipment Inventory application types and associated sub-types are applied to G/L accounts on the Account Type field on the Account Profile tab. History Sub-Types provide more detail for the history classification or application type for equipment.
The default G/L account used depends on the History Sub-type:

The G/L account set up on this screen and the G/L account set up on this screen must be defined as a history application type. |

To open the History Sub -Types screen, hover over the Configuration link from anywhere within IntelliDealer and select Equipment> General> History Sub - Types from the drop down list.
The sorting options on the History Sub-Types screen are:

The search fields on the History Sub - Types screen are:

Search for application subtypes by selecting an application type:

| Include Inactive | If selected, includes inactive application sub-types within the search results. |
The fields on the History Sub-Types screen are:

| Subtype | A one-character alphanumeric code used to represent the application sub-type within the equipment system. |
| Location | The location where the application sub-type is set up for use within the equipment system. |
| Application Type | The application type the application sub-type is associated with (Inventory, History, or Both). |
| Description | A brief description of the application sub-type. |
Click on a Subtype to edit an existing application sub-type.
Click on the Need to create a new history sub-type? Click here to add link to add a new application subtype to an application type (inventory, history, or both).
Click Close to complete your work on the History Sub-Types screen.
