Option Sub-Categories

To open the Option Sub-Categories screen, hover over the Configuration link from anywhere within IntelliDealer and select Equipment> Profile> Option Sub-Categories from the drop down list.

The Option Sub-Categories screen allows you to further define option categories on an equipment base profile. Option sub-category codes are used to help organize option codes on the base profile.

The following sorting options appear on the Option Sub-Categories screen:

Sort by
Field	Description
Code	Sort the search results by option sub-category.
Category	Sort the search results by corresponding option category.
Description	Sort the search results by option sub-category description.

The following search fields appear on the Option Sub-Categories screen:

Field	Description
Select Code	Search for option sub-category codes by entering an option sub-category.
Select Category	Search for option category by selecting an option category from the drop down list.
Select Description	Search for option sub-category by entering an option sub-category code description.
Include Inactive	If selected, includes Inactive option sub-category codes within the search results.

The following fields appear on the Option Sub-Categories screen:

Field	Description
Code	A code used to represent the option sub-category on the base profile.
Category	The option category used to represent the option category on the base profile. Note:  Option Categories are setup on the Option Categories screen.
Description	A brief description of the option sub-category.

Click on a Code to edit an existing option sub-category code.

Click the Need to create a new category? Click here to add link to add a new option sub-category code.

The following button allows you to complete your work on the Option Sub-Categories screen:

Button	Function
Close	Closes the Option Sub-Categories screen and returns to the Configuration Quick Links screen.
