Equipment Profile: Classifications
Classifications identify characteristics you can use to identify types of equipment.
For all classifications, once one is created, editing is turned on and the system validates against that one. If no other classifications of that type are configured, then anything else the user inputs is considered invalid by the system. To avoid receiving an error message you can use one or both of these options:

configure the whole list before you start using it.

by-pass the error message by configuring a blank classification
The classification types are:

|---|---|
| Yard Location | The location of the equipment in the yard. You can assign a code to each location. |
| Warranty Type | The type of warranty the equipment is under. You can assign a code for each type of warranty. |
| Warranty Subtype | The subtype of warranty the equipment is under. You can assign a code for each subtype. |
To open the Classifications screen, from anywhere within IntelliDealer, navigate to Configuration > Equipment > Profile > Classifications.
